22 YEARS IN SERVICE!!!!

I guess once you pass your 18th birthday the excitement of today being your birthday eventually diminishes. Or maybe its just in my case. I guess people who get excited about their birthdays are those who are surrounded with friends who really love to party and those who have someone special in their life. Even though i have great friends whom i grew up with, i am thousands of miles away from them and i do not regret the decision of being alone till i am completely done with my studies.
if i say i do not give a crap about my birthday then i would be lying, i may not be totally psyched about it but i can not ignore the butterflies in my tummy. hell yeah i had already checked who and who wrote on my wall and by the look of it i am royally pleased. In the past i had been forced to make resolutions on my birthday and new years however i never managed to complete any on the list. Hence i had decided long back not to make any resolutions on this day, instead i will list down my gratitude.
Dear God, i know you read my blog and listen to my prayers as most of them get unanswered as many of them are for my own selfish reasons. And i am totally great-full for that, otherwise i would have end up married with grand kids by now.
So i am great-full for giving me this long healthy life, I am great-full for my family my grandparents, my little cuxins, I am great-full for wonderful friends of mine, those whom had been with me through gossips and bitching and physical assaults.....those were the days sigh.....I am great-full for the success in my life and hope theirs more in the future.
I am great-full for all the setbacks and disappointments i faced without which i wont become the strong individual that i am today. I am great-full for making me a compassionate person and showing me paths to help and guide those who are unfortunate than me. Most of all i am great-full for being a muslim and to be a part of heaven on earth. (PS. thanks for the bunnies absolutely a bundle of fun)
